This page explains what cookies and similar technologies Garashe (garashe.com) uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and applies to anyone who accesses the service.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits or between pages: your language, your login session, a preference, etc. Some are essential for the service to function; others are optional and let the site analyze behavior, show personalized advertising, or track you across the web.
Garashe uses only cookies of the first type: strictly necessary.
Cookies used by Garashe
NEXT_LOCALE- Type
- technical / functional
- Origin
- first party (Garashe)
- Purpose
- remembers the language you've chosen so you don't have to select it again on every visit
- Duration
- persistent, up to one year
sb-*- Type
- technical / necessary
- Origin
- Supabase (authentication provider)
- Purpose
- keeps your session securely logged in
- Duration
- persistent while your session is active; renewed periodically
Both cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested. Without them, you could not maintain your logged-in session, nor could the service remember your language preference between visits.
Usage metrics without cookies
Garashe uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand in aggregate how the service is used (which pages are visited, performance metrics) and improve it. These tools operate in cookieless mode: they do not store identifiers in your browser and do not allow a personal profile to be reconstructed from visits.
For more detail on the processing of this aggregate data, see section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
Why we don't show a cookie banner
The Spanish Data Protection Agency allows operating without a cookie banner when all cookies a site uses are strictly necessary to provide the service the user has requested. Since Garashe does not use advertising, social-network, or third-party tracking cookies, displaying a banner is not legally required.
If at any point we add non-essential cookies or tracking technologies (analytics with identifiers, advertising pixels, etc.), we will first implement a compliant consent management system where you can accept or reject them granularly before any non-essential cookie is set.
How to control cookies from your browser
Although the cookies Garashe uses are necessary for it to function, you always retain control over the cookies stored in your browser. You can block or delete them at any time from your settings. Note that if you block Garashe's cookies, you will not be able to maintain your logged-in session and some service features will no longer be available.
